Getting Started with nkoda

NOTE:

It’s very important to follow each of the steps carefully, to ensure that you are signing in as an MSM user.

Do not try to create your account using nkoda’s own on-screen instructions! Those are for individual subscribers, and will not work for your free account through the MSM Library.

Step 1: Access Your Institutional Link

  • Click on the following bespoke institutional link to the nkoda WebApp: Click Here

Step 2: Get Started and Sign Up

  • Do not click "Log In" at the top of the page.
  • Instead, click "Get Started," followed by "Sign up via email."
  • Enter your details and click "Sign Up."

Step 3: Authenticate as an MSM user

  • You should receive a prompt to "Continue as a member of Manhattan School of Music."
  • Click "Yes."

Step 4: Confirm Successful Authentication

  • A banner at the top of your screen will indicate "You are signed in as a member of Manhattan School of Music." This confirms you have successfully completed the process.

Step 5: Enjoy nkoda Access Across Devices and Platforms

  • With your registration complete, you can now log in and access the app from any device, platform, or location, authenticated as an MSM user.
  • From the website, you can search for scores and add them to your library, but viewing and annotating scores requires the nkoda app.
  • If you experience problems logging in, please contact nkoda’s support: support@nkoda.com
